Diana C. Starks retired as the senior vice president and director of the Office of Minority and Women Inclusion at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Ms. Starks led the Bank’s workforce diversity, equity, inclusion and opportunity initiatives; the related education, learning, and development focus; strategic collaboration to develop a nationally recognized supplier inclusion program; and efforts to deepen the Bank’s community presence through the provision of financial education and literacy programs for students living in socioeconomically distressed neighborhoods and communities. Ms. Starks also served as the Bank’s Equal Employment Opportunity Officer and co-lead the Bank’s work on racial equity. Since her retirement, she has furthered her involvement with nonprofit boards that are focused on equity, inclusion, social justice and community enrichment. Ms. Starks holds a BBA from Hiram College, an MA in psychology with a certification in diversity management from Cleveland State University, and an MA in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
